The Mainland-Hong Kong Science and Technology Cooperation Committee has unveiled its 2024-2025 workplan, aimed at advancing innovation and technology (I&T) collaboration between Hong Kong and the Mainland.

Introduction of schemes such as the 2025 Hong Kong Joint Research Scheme in collaboration with the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Joint funding initiatives to nurture talent and drive scientific breakthroughs.
Integration into the National Framework:
Further consolidation of State Key Laboratories in Hong Kong to strengthen ties with national priorities.
Promotion of collaborative projects in the Greater Bay Area to enhance innovation and resource exchange.

Northern Metropolis development.
Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Zone.
